Comprehensive College Search
My goal is to get you admitted to several of your top choice schools. I guide you through the entire college admissions journey, helping you find schools that are a “right fit,” academically and socially. Doing a comprehensive, in-depth, personalized search helps immensely when it comes time to selecting the schools that you truly would like to attend and spend the time applying to.
Essay & Application Guidance
Brainstorming with you about the best stories for your personal essay - that is what I love to do! The personal essay is where your application comes alive with an insightful story that tells admission officers something unique about yourself that is not in other parts of the application. And this essay is helpful in developing a consistent message about what you would contribute to a college campus. Supplemental essays continue the personal themes that you want to highlight.
Personality & Career Assessments
Learning more about your personal interests, personality traits and potential career paths before applying to and attending college is a great time and money saver. While most high school students apply with an “undecided” major and/or change their specific academic major once in college, having a general discipline in mind before attending college aids in selecting an appropriate college and developing freshman and sophomore year curriculums. Various assessments can help a student narrow their academic focus to: arts, humanities, social sciences, natural or physical sciences, computer science, engineering, medicine or business.
